If you want to bookmark a page, then drag the navigation bar on top to the desktop. Once you have done that you will be able to open the page you want by double-clicking the bookmark. You can drag the preview tracks to a playlist, and it'll save them to link to the iTMS page again. It's still not perfect, but the wishlist idea does make some sense within the context of iTunes. (Granted, if you're like me you end up with a bloated wishlist, but I'd have that no matter how they implemented the "saved for later" function...)
